I'd like some opinions on this hypothetical graduating GPA record:

Freshman: 4.0
Sophmore: 4.0
Junior: 3.8
Senior: 4.0

Keep in mind this is hypothetical and that the classes taken are above average grade level, but not the most difficult possible.

Well based on what you have said, I believe that you could get into most state schools and most UC schools. Probably a couple Ivy Leagues as well.

Well I'm not an expert or anything but I don't think that'll get you into the extremely good schools. Some require a minimum of 4.0 gpa and you got a 3.8 one year.

That's a really good set up grades and I disagree with Zhao. I hear colleges care about extracurricular and you as a person just as much as grades.
