Brown University
Brown University is one of the Ivy League schools and is well known for its liberal arts program. The graduate program at Brown offers a wide variety of courses and degrees. There are two types of degrees offered to graduates attending Brown University: a Doctoral, Ph.D., Degree or Master’s Degree. There are over forty Doctoral degrees in which graduates may earn, ranging from such fields as Portuguese and Brazilian Studies to Biomedical Engineering. There are over twenty fields in which Master’s degrees in which graduates may earn, ranging from such fields as American Civilization to Literary Arts. There are also degree combinations in which graduates may earn: M.D.-PhD. Graduates using this program to earn their degrees spend two years in medical science courses and then one or two research lab before they enter Graduate School. Graduates attending Brown University also have the chance to do research. Students may research Physical Sciences, Humanities, Life Sciences, and Social Sciences. There are over twenty research centers at Brown. Graduates having trouble with tuition may apply for Student Loans. Graduates may take loans up to $18,500 per year. Graduates attending Brown University have a wide range of fields in which they may earn a degree as well as many resources in which they may participate in research.
