The California Institute of Technology (Cal Tech / Caltech) is a private research university that succeeds in sciences and engineering. It offers graduates their education through seven Academic Divisions. These Academic Divisions are Biology; Chemistry & Chemical Engineering; Engineering & Applied Sciences; Geological & Planetary Sciences; Humanities & Social Sciences; Physics, Mathematics & Astronomy; and Interdisciplinary Programs. Through these Programs, Cal Tech offers graduates a variety of degree and non-degree programs. Graduates may earn such degrees as a Master of Science Degree, an Engineer’s Degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree. There are also other types of degrees offered, such as Dual Degrees and Part-Time Degrees. Graduates attending Cal Tech are also offered many opportunities to participate in research. There are a variety of facilities in which they may participate in research, such as the Beckman Institute and the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. While studying at Cal Tech, graduates may apply for financial support. About 98% of graduate students are offered a chance at financial aid when they are accepted into Cal Tech. Approximately 99% of doctoral students have full financial support. Graduates attending the California Institute of Technology are offered a wide variety of degrees they may earn, as well as participate in research in many prestigious facilities.
