Rockefeller University

The Rockefeller University is a well known research graduate education school for biomedical sciences. There are three graduate education programs at the Rockefeller University: the Ph.D. Program, the M.D.-Ph.D. Program, and the Tri-Institutional Training Program in Chemical Biology. There are also three postgraduate training programs. They are the Postdoctoral Opportunities, Clinical Scholars Program, and the Fellows Program in the Center for Studies in Physics and Biology. Graduates may also participate in research. There are six research areas at the Rockefeller University: Biochemistry, Structural Biology, Chemistry; Immunology, Virology & Microbiology; Molecular, Cell & Developmental Biology; Medical Sciences & Human Genetics; Neuroscience; and Physics & Mathematical Biology. There are a vast range of Laboratories that graduates may research theses fields in. These labs range from the Laboratory of Virology and Infectious Disease to the Laboratory of Cardiac and Membrane Physiology. Graduates attending the Rockefeller University are offered several degree programs as well as many opportunities to research so that their education will be rich and thorough.
