College of Education
The College of Education at the University of Alabama offers graduates their education through its ten departments. These departments are Counselor Education; Curriculum and Instruction; Edu Studies in Psych, Research Methodology & Counseling; Educational Leadership, Policy & Technology Studies; Educational Psychology; Educational Research; Kinesiology; Music Education; School Psychology; and Special Education & Multiple Abilities. In these Departments, graduates may earn a variety of degrees in various majors. There are degrees from a Master of Arts Degree to a Doctor of Education Degree to an Education Specialist Degree. The Majors that these degrees may be earned in range from Counselor Education to Secondary Education to Educational Psychology to Counselor Education. The College of Education also offers graduates chances at Financial Assistance. They may earn such financial aid as the Merlin G. Duncan Memorial Scholarship to the Paul G. Orr Memorial Fellowship.
