The Institute of Technology (the College of Engineering, Physical Sciences, and Mathematics) at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities offers graduates their education through its twelve departments. These twelve departments are Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics, Astronomy, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Geology and Geophysics, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics. Each of these departments offers graduates a variety of degrees. Graduates are offered a wide variety of degrees, from a Master of Science Degree to a Doctor of Philosophy. Graduates are also offered many chances to participate in research in different fields. They may research in fields ranging from Analytical Chemistry to Chemical Biology to Cosmology and Particle Astrophysics. The Institute of Technology at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities offers graduates a wide variety of fields in which they may earn their degrees as well as participate in research.
