College of Arts and Letters
The College of Arts and Letters at the University of Notre Dame offers students courses in the arts, humanities, and social sciences. Graduates attending the College of Arts have a vast amount of resources in which they may use in order to earn their advanced education. There are 21 departments in which courses are offered. They range from Economics and Econometrics to Philosophy. Graduates have an option between two degrees: Doctoral Degrees or a variety of a Master’s Degree. There are over twenty fields in which graduates may earn one of these degrees. Graduates may earn such degrees such as a Ph.D. in Philosophy or an M.A. in Sociology. The College of Arts and Letters also offers graduates several opportunities in which they may earn grants to support their academic goals. They may earn grants for research, traveling to international conferences, and other incredible experiences. The College of Arts and Letters also offers graduates a chance at fellowships and grants to travel abroad.
