College of Engineering

                        The College of Engineering at the University of Washington offers courses in various fields of engineering.  Graduates attending have a wide variety of types of fields in which they may earn degrees.  There are ten departments at the College of Engineering: Aeronautics & Astronautics, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Technical Communication.  There are two types of degrees graduates may earn: a variety of a Master of Science Degree or a Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.).  There are a variety of degrees students may earn, varying from such degrees as Master of Science in Bioengineering to Master of Science in Technical Communication.  There are also a wide variety of research centers at the College of Engineering.  There are over twenty-five research centers where graduates may research, ranging from the Microscale Life Sciences Center to the Washington State Transportation Center.  Graduates attending the College of Engineering at the University of Washington have abundant chances at research as well as many fields in which they may earn their degrees.
