Carnegie Institute of Technology

                        The Carnegie Institute of Technology, the College of Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University , offers undergraduates courses in a wide variety of departments as well as several institutes providing research programs to its students.  The departments at the Carnegie Institute of Technology are: Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Engineering & Public Policy, Materials Science & Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.   In each of theses departments, undergraduates may take a wide array of courses, such as in the department of Chemical Engineering, they make take courses in such subjects as Mathematical Methods of Chemical Engineering and Chemical Product Design.  Undergraduates taking theses courses may earn the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree for their hard work and dedication to their education.  At the Carnegie Institute of Technology, undergraduates also have over 30 institutes and centers in which they may participate in research.  There are such centers as the Bone Tissue Engineering Center and the Center for Circuits and System Solutions.  Undergraduates attending the Carnegie Institute of Technology at Carnegie Mellon University are offered a variety of courses and research opportunities to assist them in future careers.
