Cornell University
Cornell University is a high ranked Ivy League university located in Ithaca, New York. Over thirteen thousand undergraduates attend Cornell, doubling the graduate student count. Cornell is one of the best colleges in the world, as it usually is in the top 15 every year. The last statistics (2009) stated that Cornell was 14th in the nation. Cornell produces the most doctors than any other university. Its medical program for graduates is very strong indeed. It also produces the largest number of graduates in the life sciences. The undergraduate program is divided into seven divisions: College of Architecture, Art, and Planning, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Engineering, School of Hotel Administration, New York State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, New York State College of Human Ecology and New York State School of Industrial and Labor Relations. The undergraduate program has over 2,500 faculty members. Cornell has 36 Varsity sports teams. Cornell University competes in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC).
