Pratt School of Engineering
The Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University offers its undergraduates courses in the departments of Biomedical Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science. Undergraduates may earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. In Biomedical Engineering, undergraduates may study in the fields of Biomechanics of Blood Flow, Cells and Hard and Soft Tissues, Molecular, Cellular, and Biosurface Engineering, Electrobiology of the Hearth and Nervous System, Medical Imaging Systems and Biomedical Optics, and Medical Informatics. In Civil Engineering, there are 4 fields of study as well as a Certificate Program. These fields range from Structural Engineering and Mechanics to the Certificate Program in Architectural Engineering. In the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering, undergraduates are offered six courses: Computer Engineering and Digital Systems, Signal Processing and Communications, Solid-State Devices and Integrated Circuits, Control Systems and Robotics, Electromagnetic Fields, and Photonics. In Mechanical Engineering, there are four fields in which undergraduates may earn degrees. Undergraduates attending the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University are offered courses in such fields ranging from Biomedical Engineering to Electrical and Computer Engineering.
