Harvard University is definitely one that immediately draws attention. It is ancient. It is successful. It is fun. Harvard is over 350 years old, which is the oldest higher learning school in the history of the United States. Over fourteen thousand faculty members work at Harvard University. Seven United States presidents attended Harvard University. Similar to many other universities, Harvard’s student body is very diverse with many different ethnic backgrounds. Harvard is also generally considered the hardest university to get accepted to. The most recent statistics said that Harvard only accepted 7.1% of all applicants! However, Harvard is getting competition from two rival universities that are coming hard on Harvard’s heels: Yale and Princeton. One reason high school students are drawn to Harvard’s undergraduate program is for Harvard’s graduate program. Their graduate program is one of the top law schools in the entire world. Some students hope to benefit from the upper level alumni, while others just want to go to Harvard for the name. Whatever the reason a person has to go to Harvard undergraduate – it’s a good decision.
