The Julliard School is a very competitive school that is located in New York City. Julliard is famous for its dance, drama, and music. It is one of the most difficult schools to get into because Julliard only accepts a few hundred students per year! In fact, the most recent statistics (2007) show that Julliard University is the hardest to be accepted to. Julliard School is very successful because they have access to musical files that not many others do. A billionaire donated some very valuable scripts that enables Julliard School to elevate itself to the next level. The Julliard School of Music has numerous orchestras and group musical events. Julliard has had many successful students who have gone on to be in well known TV shows and movies. Some of these are: Desperate Housewives, Superman and Ugly Betty. Many well known musicians are also from Julliard: Michael Giacchino (Ratatouille), Veronica Salas (Phantom of the Opera) and John Williams (Jurassic Park, Star Wars and Harry Potter 1-3). Julliard has definitely produced some amazing people.
