Princeton University is one of the most prestigious universities in the United States. The undergraduate program offered at Princeton offers over 34 departments in humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and engineering. Princeton offers over 25 programs in which undergraduates can major in and over 20 Ph. D degrees offered to students. There are a wide variety of elective courses, and can pursue different certificate programs. From these subjects, students can graduate with either the A.B. Degree (Bachelor of Arts) or with a B.S.E Degree School of Engineering and Applied Science). Independent work is a trademark for the undergraduate education at Princeton. There are three schools that undergraduates can select from: School of Architecture, School of Engineering and Applied Science, and Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Princeton’s undergraduate Aid Program is designed to encourage all qualified students, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances, to consider applying for admission to Princeton’s undergraduate program. Any family who feels that they may need help to apply for Princeton is welcome to apply for financial aid. At Princeton University, creative and performing arts are essential to the education mission, and all students are encouraged to explore their artistic interest and talents. In 2007, Princeton established the Lewis Center for the Arts, offering art opportunities for students, as well as the entire campus community. Princeton offers the Study Abroad Program for undergraduates during the academic year. This programs increases special academic opportunities and foreign language competency. The undergraduates attending Princeton University are given a wide variety of courses and opportunities so that they can reach their maximum potential.
