School of Engineering

The George R. Brown School of Engineering at Rice University has eight departments in which it offers undergraduates their education. These departments are Bioengineering, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computational and Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, and Statistics. There are a wide variety of degrees that undergraduates may earn. They may earn such degrees as a Bachelor of Arts in Chemical Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computational & Applied Math, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and many more. Undergraduates are also offered an opportunity to earn Scholarships and Fellowships. There are such Fellowships as the Ford Foundation Taking Applications for Diversity Fellowships Program. The George R. Brown School of Engineering at Rice University offers undergraduates a wide variety of degree programs so that they may earn a degree that best fits their goals.
