University of Florida

The University of Florida is one of the United States’ largest universities. There are sixteen colleges at the University of Florida, which cover the subjects Agricultural and Life Sciences, Business Administration, Design, Construction, and Planning, Dentistry, Education, Engineering, Fine Arts, Health and Human Performance, Journalism and Communications, Law, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health and Health Professions, and Veterinary Medicine. Through these colleges, the University of Florida offers over 100 undergraduate majors. Undergraduates may have such majors as Agricultural Education and Communication and Visual Art Studies. There are also a wide variety of minors which undergraduates may take to supplement their education. There are such minors such as Anthropology and Food Science that undergraduates may take. There are four types of financial aid that undergraduates may request. They are Scholarships, Grants, Loans, and Student Employment. There are several types of some of these forms of financial aid, such as the various types of grants, such as the Federal Pell Grant and Federal Academic Competitiveness Grants. Undergraduates attending the University of Florida have a vast amount of subjects in which they may take as their major as well as a wide variety of minors.
