University of Maryland, College Park is the university that is usually referred to when people talk about the University of Maryland. The University of Maryland is considered a “Public Ivy”. The undergraduate program at University of Maryland offers students a wide variety of choices when deciding about academics. There are fifteen schools and colleges at the University of Maryland, but not all may be attended by undergraduates. There are over 100 undergraduate degrees that they may earn, ranging from subjects such as Biological Sciences: Physiology and Neurobiology and Natural Resources Management. There are also ten Certificate Programs students may take in addition to their majors. They range from subjects as Asian American Studies to Science, Technology, and Society.
