School of Engineering and Computer Science

The School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of the Pacific offers undergraduates degrees in a variety of fields. Undergraduates may earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in the fields of Bioengineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, Engineering Physics, and Mechanical Engineering. Undergraduates also have a chance to take several minors: Computer Science, Engineering Management, International Engineering, Technology, and Sustainability. In the field of Civil Engineering, undergraduates must take courses in Construction, Environmental, Structural, and Water Resources Engineering. In the field of Computer Engineering, undergraduates may take courses in such subjects as Artificial Intelligence, Computer Graphics, Digital Signal Processing, Microcomputers, Robotics, and Virtual Reality. There is a vast array of courses offered in the field of Electrical Engineering, in such subjects as Computers, Communication Systems, Automatic Control Systems, Integrated Circuit, and many others. In Engineering Management, undergraduates are offered the courses to help them pursue careers in Technical Marketing, Project Management, and Industrial Systems Engineering. Undergraduates wishing taking the courses in Engineering Physics may earn degrees in such fields as Medical Imaging and Instrumentation and Semiconductor Processing. In Mechanical Engineering, undergraduates may take varying courses such as Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis and Energy Systems Design & Analysis.
