University of Washington
The University of Washington is one of the oldest state universities on the West Coast of the United States. Undergraduates attending the University of Washington are offered a wide range of different subjects and degrees in which to choose from. There are over fifteen colleges in which undergraduates can earn their degrees, and over 125 different majors to choose from, from subjects such as Biostatistics to Romance Languages and Literature. At the University of Washington, there are many Labs, Centers, Programs, and Projects that undergraduates may participate in. Undergraduates can participate in such things as the Undergraduate Fuel Cell Research and join the Center for Sustainable Forestry at Pack Forest. Undergraduates attending the University of Washington also have a chance to study abroad. Students have the opportunity to study in almost every region of the world. Undergraduates may study in such countries as Italy and Bolivia. Undergraduates attending the University of Washington also have the opportunity to use financial aid. Undergraduates’ financial aid is offered in four forms: Grants, Scholarships, many different Work Study programs, and various loans. Undergraduates attending the University of Washington have a wide variety of courses in which they can study.
