Copenhagen University
The University of Copenhagen (In the Danish language, this university is called Københavns Universitet) is the largest university in all of Denmark. In addition Copenhagen University is the oldest university in the history of Denmark. Undoubtedly, this college plays an important role in Danish society and education. This Danish university is competitive, and currently has over 35,000 students attending. Unlike the majority of top level universities around the world, Copenhagen has a larger amount of women attending than men. In order to compensate for this large mass of people, Copenhagen has over 7,000 faculty members. The university is the most elite school in all of Denmark, and ranks in the top ten of Europe. It is a very prestigious school that ranks in the top fifty of the world. The University of Copenhagen currently has eight faculties all of which provide excellent education Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Life Sciences, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Theology. Copenhagen definitely emphasizes on different types of sciences.
