Queen’s University
Queen’s University is one Canada’s leading universities with a world-wide reputation. There are eleven programs of study for undergraduates attending Queen’s University: Arts, Computing, Commerce, Concurrent Education, Engineering, Fine Art, X-Ray Technology, Music, Nursing Science, Kinesiology and Health Studies, and Science. Undergraduates may also study the Arts in England while attending Queen’s University as a program of study. There are several means in which undergraduates attending and applying to Queen’s University may earn financial aid. Undergraduates attending may earn upper-year scholarships, bursaries, and work-study programs from the university, and may earn other external awards. Undergraduates applying may also apply for loans and grants, non repayable bursaries, and work programs, or may earn merit based funding that rewards students for accomplishments in academics and extra-curricular activities. Undergraduates also have the chance to study abroad. Undergraduates may study at over 100 institutions in over 30 countries, such as Portugal and Denmark.
Graduates attending Queen’s University also have a wide variety of programs in which they can study. There are over fifty programs of study for graduates attending Queen’s University, in such subjects as Microbiology and Immunology and Global Development Studies. The School of Graduate Studies and Research at Queen’s University also offers a program called Cultural Studies at Queens, or CSQ. This is graduate program that integrates theoretical and practical approaches used in Cultural Studies. CSQ offers programs at the M.A. and Ph.D. levels. There are many options for financial aid for graduates, as well. There are many different varieties of financial aid, such as the E.G. Bauman Fellowship and the Roeher Institute Research Grants. Both graduates and undergraduates attending Queen’s University have a wide range of courses and programs in which they may take.
