Seoul National University is one of South Koreas best universities, and was ranked at #50 in the world by US News. Undergraduates have a wide range of courses offered through seventeen colleges. These colleges are the College of Humanities, College of Social Sciences, College of Natural Sciences, College of Nursing, College of Business Administration, College of Engineering, College of Agriculture & Life Science, College of Fine Arts, College of Law, College of Education, College of Human Ecology, College of Veterinary Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Music, College of Medicine, Interdisciplinary Programs for Undergraduates, and College of Liberal Studies. Each of these Colleges offers a wide variety of departments: the College of Humanities has the Dept. of Korean Language and Literature and many others. Graduates may earn both Master’s and Doctoral, or Ph.D., degrees. They may earn them in the subjects of Humanities & Social, Sciences, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Arts, Medicine, and Interdisciplinary Programs. Students attending Seoul National University may research many fields while taking their courses. They may research in such fields as basic sciences and oceanography. There is a Career Development Center at the Seoul National University. This center helps assists students in realizing how their university experience and how they may earn future professional jobs by providing the students with internship and job preparation.
