Tsinghua University
Tsinghua University (Qinghua), is a university in Beijing. Tsinghua isn’t just any ordinary university; according to many resources, it is the best university in all of China. Considering that China has the largest population in the world which means that students have an extreme amount of competition, getting into Tsinghua is nothing to blink at. Each year, a majority of applicants scoring the highest on the National Entrance Exams choose to attend Tsinghua. In fact, several of the Chinese Presidents went to Tsinghua as students. Tsinghua University has twelve colleges and forty eight departments, forty one research institutes, thirty five research centers, and 167 laboratories, including fifteen national key laboratories. Tsinghua University offers fifty one bachelor’s degree programs, 139 master’s degree programs and 107 Ph.D. programs. This is quite a good amount of classes and degrees to offer, even for an extremely prestigious school.
