University of Toronto
The University of Toronto is a public research university located in Canada with campuses also at Scarborough and Mississauga. Undergraduates attending the main campus have nine fields in which they may earn degrees. They are Commerce, Computer Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, Life Sciences, Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Engineering & Applied Science, Engineering Science, Music, and Physical Education & Health. Each of these degree areas have a wide variety of fields in which students may study, such as in the Humanities and Social Sciences, students may earn Bachelor’s Degrees in American Studies or French Language and French Linguistics. There are three different types of programs in which graduates may earn degrees: Master’s Degree Program, Doctoral Degree Programs, and Collaborative Programs. There are over 100 fields in which graduates may earn a Master’s Degree, in such fields as Statistics and Pharmacology and Toxicology. If the graduate student wishes to earn a Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.), they may do so in over 75 fields, which include such diverse subjects as Molecular & Medical Genetics and Linguistics. There are over 30 fields in which graduate student may supplement their education with through the Collaborative Program, in such fields as Addiction Studies and Bioethics. Not only do students attending the University of Toronto have a wide variety of courses they make take, they also have a wide variety of types of financial aid in which they may request. They may earn a variety of scholarships, loans, grants, participate in Work-Study programs, and many other special programs. Students attending the University of Toronto on any of the three campuses have a wide variety and diversity of degrees, fields, and financial aid in which they may participate in or select from.
